Woolly Weather

Arriving on Thursday, the wild weather made up for much autumn time lost. After weeks of perfect sunny sameness, the volatile mood swings of recent days are not all bad though. The weather may be destructive in its vigour but in a less woolly coat it is an exhilarating walking companion.

List - Less

After weeks and weeks of making and following lists of things-to-do to get our house on the market, we had our first home open on Sunday.
  • Monday: I decided not to make a list and just have a free day.
  • Tuesday: Signed off on an offer so I didn't make a list.
  • Today: List-less again!
Without a list, I just read and walk and play with the dogs and hang out with Six when he's not working. I may look listless to the casual observer but in fact I am only list-less. The difference appears very obvious from where I am currently reclining.

Mullalloo

The weather over the past six weeks has been like a psuedo-summer minus the "too hot" of real Perth summers. 5 minutes from where we live is this beach. With a wet and windy change on the way tomorrow I may not see it looking as idyllic again before leaving this town.

Shiny Things

Gosh - I too must be easily distracted - I just sat down to share something that made me smile today... and then noticed the date of my last post: May 1. A week without posting a single word has gone by! Every single time I logged on to blog this week my attention was waylaid by the "Blogs I'm Following".

Catching up on the blogs of others has hijacked my own posting windows. And it is time to change my easily distracted ways....

Whatever I sat down to share can wait; to avoid future distractions, I am off to remove some shiny blogs from my watch list.

Beauty in Breakage

Two of my car windows were smashed by some blockhead who obviously took his job description too seriously. It wasn't a break in: The shattered glass was mostly intact and the car doors were still locked when I discovered the damage. Annoying.

As I was cleaning up the mess I couldn't help but admire how pretty auto glass looks in its broken state. I stopped to take a photo -

I am not usually so Pollyanna in these situations. But hey, there you have it!
